EDDIE & EMILY
AND THE DEMON CELL
Our story begins in the most unlikely of places, at the most unlikely of times in history with probably the most unlikely and surprising characters you could imagine. What’s more, this story is quite unlike any traditional fables. Our hero seems to be the most questionable and least motivated of characters and our maiden is equally unexpected, as she seems to be entirely normal for her age. Our hero is a timid, reclusive boy; our maiden is a strong-willed, often flawed schoolgirl. Our hero hides a terrible secret, both powerful and terrifying. Our maiden thinks supernatural powers belong in fairytales and has never known terrible secrets. He is confused about his true purpose. She is eager to learn hers. Still, they are destined to overcome the odds together and in the most startling way imaginable, and, as in most fables, our heroes have no idea of the danger that lies in their immediate future. What could possibly be worse?

our characters
Eddie, our reluctant hero
Removed from the relative safety and seclusion in the mostly unlikely of place, the massively populated slums of El Anil, Eddie and his strange but special family are sent to Doon as refugees. But secretly they are sent by Sharma on a mission that has yet to be revealed. Eddie is only a 10 year old boy, who you’d probably not ever notice (Eddie was superb at blending into his environment) yet he was, at times irritated by being treated like a child. His appearance didn’t help this much, as he looked no different to any of his peers. However, Eddie hides a terrible secret and secrets are supposed to remain hidden. That all changes after Emily befriends Eddie. After being pursued by a dangerous yet unknown enemy Eddie finds his courage and together they face it. Join them as they bravely discover it.
Emily
Emily Strong willed and often flawed, Emily often questions the wider world around her. To her detriment, Adults don’t respond well to intelligent questions from a bold 10 year old girl, and other girls her age are more interested in dolls and dress ups. Emily is a beautiful soul but can be easily misunderstood be her peers. Yet despite this, Emily develops wonderful friendships with her Piano tutor and eventually Jack and Mom. When Emily first meets Eddie, she’s not entirely sure about him but thankfully her outgoing friendly nature breaks down Eddie attempts to stay in his private personal space and they are drawn closer despite their differences. Emily thinks that she’s just a normal kid. That’s until she has the dream. It’s not a normal dream at all. follow Emily as she finds out just how spectacular her dream actually is!
Sharma
He is old. I mean, really old. No one really knows but in the exciting story of ‘Eddie & Emily’ reckons he is more than 3000 years old! Sometimes Eddie just can’t comprehend the span of this sorcerer’s life. Yet Sharma has not become indifferent to his much younger peers, in fact, he is still as gentle and caring as he was when Eddie first met him. find out just how long ago that was.
Brian Parks
Brian Parks
When Brian isn’t freeloading off his friends or wasting time avoiding any physical work at all, he’s scheming up plans to rob or steal something because he can’t be bothered ever paying for anything.
His life is a simple calculation based on whatever is easiest for him at the time. because of this Brian is prone to being caught mostly every time he tries one of his hairbrained schemes.
Brian eventually gets caught in the most implausible way imaginable.
Find out how Brian’s story is part of a greater mystery that our other character must solve.
Her Dream
In her dream, she stood on a far hilltop overlooking a huge city. A
metropolis with the tallest buildings she could ever imagine and it
sprawled it’s tendrils as far as the eye could see. These towering
structures, we call them skyscrapers now, could have numbered in the thousands, she could not tell. As in all dreams, some events seem to happen in slow motion. A multitude of huge flying warships appeared in the sky above the city.
She saw the attack. She witnessed the explosions and the breathtaking contempt for innocent lives orchestrated by the brutal attackers. She wept. In her dream she was sobbing and crying out for those who were dying. And suddenly, Emily felt like she was being watched, like eyes far off could see her and were gloating at her terror.
A lone gunship arose directly in front of her. Paralyzed by fear she
could not move. and then as if by magic, a man stood in front of her. He was addressing her directly.
He knew her? Who was he? Was he going to kill me?
