George is lonely. It’s just the Old Man and his dogs and most days he prefers walking his companions on the wet, windy dreary slopes of the peninsula to the annoying discomfort of having to talk to People.

Wet and dreary summed up George’s existence well but it was about to change for the worse for Old George. Much worse.
